Who is Jon Park?

Jon Park was born in Reno, NV and was raised in the beautiful Carson Valley on a cattle ranch. He attended Douglas High School. He furthered his education at the University of Nevada Reno where he was the chapter President of the campus Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity along with being involved with many other campus organizations. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics with distinction. He married his college sweetheart Molly, to whom he has been married to for 27 years. He started his journey as a Financial Advisor by working at Dean Witter in Carson City. He has been in the industry since 1998, bringing over twenty years of experience. Jon still goes back to his ranching roots while residing in Reno.

Jon is most proud of his ability to combine his 30 years of business, and over 20 years of financial advising to provide his clients with a unique perspective when issuing financial advice. He believes when communicating with clients, trust and honesty is of the utmost importance.

Responsibilities

Jon advises Individuals in areas such as cash management, retirement planning, tax efficient portfolio design, portfolio management and college planning, just to name a few. Jon also advises businesses in areas of cash management, retirement plan design, and tax free/ tax efficient investing. Jon also holds a life insurance license enabling him to help with life insurance needs for individuals, also including buy/sell life insurance for business owners. He believes that financial planning is a process that requires continued oversight with consistent communication to his clients.

Jon has a daughter, Brooke and Austin (1994-2008). He prides himself on his ability to balance his work and family life. and he loves to take his family on trips all around Nevada.
