My personal passion lies in helping clients pursue their dreams and goals. I’m committed to excellence, addressing concerns promptly and efficiently, and I’m always eager to expand my knowledge. I hold my Series 7 registration through LPL Financial, my Series 66 registration through both LPL Financial and Legacy Wealth Planning, and my Life and Health licenses in Nevada.
Additionally, I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ practitioner.
Proud
I take pride in offering my experience and dedication to building successful relationships with clients. I believe everyone should have a retirement and wealth-building plan tailored to their specific wants and needs. It’s my pleasure to develop this plan and assist clients in their pursuit of financial independence.
My work is my pride, and providing strategies for clients’ wealth-planning needs, addressing financial planning questions and goals, and fostering lasting client relationships through portfolio management and financial strategy implementation are invaluable experiences for me.
Responsibilities
With over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, I bring in-depth knowledge of retirement plans, financial planning, and client relations. I’ve worked with both large and small teams, attended Barron’s Teams conferences, and previously worked for Wells Fargo Advisors. Transitioning to Legacy Wealth Planning has allowed me to further develop professionally and cultivate more dedicated relationships with my clients.
Life Pride /Accomplishments
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Mitch and our two children, Danny and Abby. We engage in activities like riding horses, milking goats, collecting eggs, and participating in our kids’ extracurricular and community activities.
Additionally, Mitch & I founded the Lizzy Hammond Foundation in honor of our eldest daughter, Lizzy, who passed away in 2019. The Foundation’s mission is to promote child safety awareness and education, community outreach and volunteer opportunities. My family and I also volunteer regularly with charities such as Washoe County 4-H, Northern Nevada Food Bank, St. Alberts Catholic School, Nevada Army National Guard, and others.
Why Work with a CFP?
Most people think that all financial planners are “certified,” but this isn’t true. Anyone can call himself or herself a “financial planner.”
Only those who have fulfilled the certification and renewal requirements of CFP Board can display the CFP® certification marks. Individuals certified by CFP Board have taken the extra step to demonstrate their professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the rigorous CFP® certification process that includes demanding education, examination, experience, and ethical requirements. These standards are called “the four E’s,” and they are four important reasons why the financial planning practitioner you select should display the CFP® certification marks.
When selecting a financial planner, you need to feel confident that the person you choose to help you plan for your future is competent and ethical. The CFP® certification provides that sense of security by allowing only those who meet the following requirements the right to use the CFP® certification marks.
